Project Overview
I was commissioned to design a 28-page booklet for a wine tasting event featuring 119 wines.
The booklet needed to help guests explore the wines, understand pricing, and easily place orders during the event.
It combined functional design (as an order form) with a premium visual identity that reflected the client’s brand and the experience of the tasting itself.

Project Goals
- Present 119 wines in an organized, accessible layout.
- Display each wine’s region, RRP, and event discount (25% off) clearly.
- Enable guests to record their desired quantities directly in the booklet.
- Maintain a premium aesthetic aligned with the client’s brand and the event’s tone.

Design Approach
The challenge was presenting a large amount of information without overwhelming the reader. I focused on clarity, visual hierarchy, and usability, while keeping the design elegant and inviting.
Design highlights:
- Structured categorization: Wines grouped by region or style for easy navigation.
- Clear information hierarchy: Consistent typography emphasized wine names and prices.
- Interactive functionality: Each wine listing included a space for quantity entry.
- Order submission system: Guests could post their completed order sheets into a collection letterbox at the event.
- Refined aesthetics: A restrained color palette and typography created a cohesive, sophisticated look.

Outcome
The booklet was printed and distributed at the event, where it was highly praised for its usability and presentation.

This project showed how thoughtful print design can make a real impact — blending information design and aesthetic appeal to create a smooth guest experience.

Reflection
