Project Overview
In June 2025, I had the opportunity to work with the Great Wine Company on a photography project for their Summer Wine Promotion. The goal was to create a visually appealing set of images that could be used across their website, social media channels, and advertising platforms. This included both individual product shots and group lifestyle imagery that captured the essence of summer and showcased their curated wine selection.
The imagery was also intended for use in a homepage carousel, drawing attention to the promotion as soon as customers visited the site. With a diverse range of wines being featured, the creative direction aimed to highlight variety, quality, and seasonal enjoyment.
My Role
As the lead photographer on the project, I was responsible for conceptualising and capturing all imagery. This involved shooting bottles in natural lifestyle settings, creating both individual bottle shots and group compositions that reflected the brand’s tone and the season’s atmosphere.
While the majority of the shoot was carried out solo, I collaborated with the Great Wine Co.’s Private Client Executive, whose support helped streamline the setup and styling process during the session.
Challenges & Solutions
This particular shoot was unusually smooth. The natural light at the chosen location was perfect, and the weather conditions were ideal for outdoor photography. As a result, we didn’t encounter any major obstacles that required on-the-fly solutions, a rarity in outdoor shoots and a welcome change!
Results
The final output included a range of high-quality lifestyle and product images that were used throughout the Great Wine Co.’s June promotional campaign. These visuals supported the brand’s marketing efforts by enhancing its website design and adding fresh content to its social media platforms. The client was able to highlight their summer wine selection effectively, resulting in a vibrant and engaging visual campaign for the month.
