Project Overview
In October 2025, I collaborated with The Great Wine Company to produce a series of promotional images for their October France Promotion. The goal was to create a collection of high-quality photographs to be used across their website, social media channels, and advertising materials.
The brief focused on capturing the character of French wines through both product and lifestyle imagery. This included photographing individual bottles, curated group shots, and styled scenes that reflected the atmosphere and enjoyment of French wine culture.
My Role
I was solely responsible for the photography and creative execution of the project. From planning the setup and lighting to composing and editing the final images, every stage of the shoot was handled independently. My aim was to produce cohesive, visually appealing images that aligned with the brand’s tone and seasonal promotion.

Challenges
One of the main challenges during the shoot was the limited availability of natural light in the chosen environment. Since natural light often brings warmth and realism to lifestyle photography, the lack of it presented a significant obstacle in maintaining the aesthetic and tonal quality I wanted to achieve.
Solutions
To overcome this, I made extensive use of artificial lighting and off-camera flash. This approach allowed me to carefully shape the light, control reflections on the glass bottles, and ensure consistency across all shots. Through controlled lighting setups, I was able to replicate a natural look and highlight the details and textures of each bottle effectively.

Results
The final outcome was a cohesive set of high-quality images that The Great Wine Company used throughout their October 2025 promotion. The photographs featured prominently across their website homepage carousel, social media posts, and advertising materials, successfully showcasing their curated selection of French wines.
The images helped elevate the brand’s visual presentation, bringing warmth, sophistication, and authenticity to their seasonal marketing campaign.
Takeaway
This project reinforced the importance of adaptability in photography — particularly when working with challenging lighting conditions. By leveraging controlled lighting techniques, I was able to maintain a consistent, natural aesthetic and deliver imagery that met the client’s creative and commercial goals.
